Iris Arroyo Herrera

Iris Arroyo Herrera is the mayor of Puriscal, Costa Rica, representing the National Liberation Party (PLN) since May 2020. She has recently been in the news due to a simultaneous raid conducted by the Attorney General's Office and the Judicial Investigation Agency at her home and the municipal building, as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged corruption, including misuse of funds and influence peddling.
