Íris Ösp Ingjaldsdóttir is an accomplished Icelandic author and lawyer known for her debut novel 'Röskun', which she published in 2019. Shortly after her literary success, she faced significant health challenges, being diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). Despite these obstacles, she persevered and recently published her second novel, 'Bylur', which took her six years to complete. Born and raised in Reykjavik, Íris has always had a passion for writing, which she actively pursued after becoming a mother.
