Isabel Cancela de Abreu

Isabel Cancela de Abreu is the executive director of the Associação Lusófona de Energias Renováveis (ALER), which promotes renewable energy initiatives across Portuguese-speaking countries. At the Fórum de Investimentos na África Lusófona, she addressed the importance of collaboration between public and private sectors to achieve universal electricity access by 2030 and emphasized the necessity of establishing a strong presence for the Lusophone community in international climate discussions.
