Isabel Gutiérrez

Isabel Gutiérrez, affectionately known as 'Chavita', is a 54-year-old vendor who runs a traditional newsstand at the corner of Ayacucho and Independencia streets. She has carried on her parents' legacy of selling literature, starting her day at 5 AM to provide newspapers, magazines, books, and games to her customers. Despite facing challenges from the internet and economic changes, Isabel continues to serve the community with pride and encourages others to value their work.
