Isatou Sanyang

Isatou Sanyang is the Director of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Female Wing at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in The Gambia. She is a passionate advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities and emphasizes the importance of empowering them to understand and claim their rights. Sanyang has publicly called for greater accountability from the government to ensure that children with disabilities are not marginalized but are provided with the necessary resources to succeed in society.
