Ishrak Hossain is a Bangladeshi politician who gained attention during the 2020 Dhaka South City Corporation elections as a mayoral candidate. His campaign faced significant challenges, including allegations of violence against his supporters and claims of electoral fraud. Following the election, which he contested against Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Hossain filed a lawsuit challenging the election results. In a recent court ruling, he was declared the rightful mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation.
