Ismail Darbar

Ismail Darbar is a renowned Indian composer and lyricist known for his work in Bollywood music. He gained prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s with popular soundtracks for films such as 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and 'Devdas'. Besides his musical achievements, he is also recognized as the father of musician Zaid Darbar and the father-in-law of actress Gohar Khan. Recently, he was in the news for expressing his views on Gohar Khan's career choices, stating that he respects her work but has his own traditional views regarding family responsibilities.
