Ismail Sabri

Ismail Sabri Yaakob is a Malaysian politician who served as the 9th Prime Minister of Malaysia from August 21, 2021, to November 24, 2022. He is a member of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) and has held various ministerial positions, including Minister of Defence and Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry. His leadership has been marked by significant challenges, including managing the COVID-19 pandemic and navigating Malaysia's political landscape. Recently, he was in the news due to an investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) involving four of his former senior officials.
