Ismoil Jo‘rabekov

Ismoil Jo‘rabekov was a prominent Uzbek statesman and expert in the field of water management, who served as an advisor to the Minister of Water Resources of Uzbekistan until his death at the age of 94. Born on September 12, 1931, in Samarkand, he dedicated his career to advancing irrigation and land reclamation in Uzbekistan, holding key positions including First Deputy Minister of Water Management and Chairman of the State Committee for Water Management. Jo‘rabekov's work significantly contributed to the development of Uzbekistan's agricultural sector and the implementation of reforms post-independence. He was recognized with numerous awards for his contributions to the nation's irrigation efforts and was known for his dedication to mentoring young professionals in the field.
