Israel Sokol

Israel Sokol was a soldier who fell in battle in Gaza in January 2024 and is posthumously recognized as a symbol by movements advocating for the establishment of Jewish settlements in southern Lebanon. His family and supporters believe in the historical connection of these territories to Israel and seek to promote their settlement as a security measure.
