Issaka Ouédraogo is a dedicated environmental and energy team leader at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Burkina Faso. He recently earned his PhD in geography, focusing on the critical issue of climate information access for rural populations in his country. His doctoral thesis, which received high praise, explored how better access to climate data can enhance resilience against climate risks, particularly in agricultural communities. Through his research, Ouédraogo aims to address the challenges posed by climate change and contribute to improving the living conditions of rural communities in Burkina Faso.
