Issam Younis

Issam Younis is a prominent Palestinian human rights advocate and the general director of the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, an organization dedicated to monitoring human rights violations and providing legal assistance to victims in the Gaza Strip. He has been actively involved in documenting the impact of conflict on civilians and advocating for justice and accountability for violations of international law. Recently, he was in the news as part of a collective call for South Africa to petition the International Court of Justice to take further measures against Israel's military operations in Gaza.
