Iti Parson, a soldier of the elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit, tragically lost his life during a free diving accident in Haifa. He enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces in January 2023 for a flight course, later transitioning to mandatory service in the Border Police. After completing his training, he specialized in a unit focused on intelligence and drone operations. His dedication to service and his untimely passing at a young age deeply affected his family, including four siblings and a partner, as well as the broader community, which rallied in search efforts during the three-day operation to find him.
