Iulian Nica is the founder of the Romanian grocery chain La Cocoș, established in 2014 in Ploiești. Known for its low-price policy and innovative three-tier pricing model, La Cocoș has gained popularity in the local retail market. Under Nica's leadership, the company has expanded its operations and recently attracted significant investments to further its growth, aiming to open multiple new stores and achieve sales of over 1 billion euros within the next five years. Nica retains a key leadership role in the company after a majority stake acquisition by the Schwarz Group, which operates Kaufland and Lidl.
