
Iván Mauricio Lenis
Iván Mauricio Lenis is a prominent Colombian jurist and academic who has recently been appointed as the new vice president of the Supreme Court of Justice. With a background in labor law and a doctorate in legal sociology and political institutions, he has dedicated over two decades to teaching and research at Icesi University in Cali, where he held various leadership roles. Lenis has also served as an auxiliary in the Court's Labor Cassation Chamber before ascending to his current position. In his new role, he will oversee legislative projects and coordinate the management systems of the court, stepping in as president in the absence of current president Octavio Tejeiro.
