Ivan Nevzоров

Ivan Nevzоров is a 97-year-old veteran from Grodno, Belarus, who served during World War II. He was born in 1927 in Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia, and was drafted into the army in December 1944. During the war, he was stationed as a guard at a bridge near Nizhny Novgorod and later participated in post-war operations against nationalist groups in Western Ukraine. After his military service, Nevzоров spent nearly 30 years in the border troops across various countries, eventually settling in Grodno. He has received numerous awards for his service, including the Order of the Patriotic War II class and several medals for his contributions during the war.
