Ivan Piko Stančić

Ivan Piko Stančić was a renowned Croatian musician, producer, and academic painter, who passed away at the age of 74 on the island of Brač after a long battle with a serious illness. Born on July 4, 1953, in Dalj, he grew up in an artistic family and began his musical journey at the age of 12, performing in various bands. He gained significant recognition as a drummer for the legendary group Grupa 220 and was involved in numerous notable projects, contributing to the sound of iconic Yugoslav bands such as Parni valjak and Film. In addition to performing, Stančić produced albums for several prominent artists, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene in the region.
