Ivan Wilson

Ivan Wilson was a former Napier City councillor and the original visionary behind the Ahuriri Rock Pools Development project. He obtained initial approval for the project in 1995, but unfortunately passed away shortly after construction began, leaving the project without a leader to continue its development. As part of the current plan, Graham Duncan has committed to creating a monument in Wilson's honor to recognize his contributions to the community.
