Ivanna Zambrano

Ivanna Zambrano is a Venezuelan exile who has faced severe persecution from the regime of Nicolás Maduro. After fleeing to Chile in 2019, she continued to receive threats from the government, prompting her to seek asylum in Colombia. Despite her efforts to find safety, the harassment persisted, including threatening messages that targeted her family. In 2021, she successfully obtained political asylum in the United States due to the ongoing dangers posed by the Venezuelan state.
