Ivo Medin
Ivo Medin was a prominent figure in Budva, known for his role in establishing one of the first hotels in the area, which marked the beginning of elite tourism along the Adriatic coast. His family has been present in Budva since 1705, and under his leadership, the hotel was completed in 1939, attracting numerous guests. The establishment, however, faced challenges due to nationalization policies after World War II, which led to the confiscation of the property. Despite these hardships, the Medin family continues to advocate for the return of their ancestral property, Villa Medin, which symbolizes their long-standing connection to the region.
