Iwan Pawirowijono

Iwan Pawirowijono is a resident of the Mungra project in Paramaribo-Noord, who has emerged as a spokesperson for the community's concerns regarding land ownership and housing rights. Recently, he presented a petition to the National Assembly (DNA), advocating for an independent investigation into the legal status of the land where he and other families have lived for over fourteen years, amidst fears of eviction and demolition of their homes.
