J.B. Limann

J.B. Limann was a Ghanaian lawyer and public figure who played a significant role during a tumultuous period in Ghana's history. Known for his unwavering loyalty to his brother, Dr. Hilla Limann, the former President of Ghana, J.B. made personal sacrifices, including abandoning his studies in the UK, to support his brother's government during political upheaval. After Dr. Limann's overthrow in 1981, J.B. Limann demonstrated remarkable courage in attempts to free his brother, navigating dangerous political landscapes and ultimately establishing a successful law practice in Nigeria. He returned to Ghana later in life, serving as the Paramount Chief of Gwollu and a member of the Council of State, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and dedication to his country.
