Jaasir Linger

Jaasir Linger is a Dutch artist of Surinamese descent, recognized for his innovative exploration of Surinamese cultural heritage and the Afro-Surinamese Winti religion in his artwork. His exhibition 'Asi Boy' at Museum De Lakenhal showcases a variety of mediums including paintings and sculptures, and aims to address historical narratives often overlooked in Dutch museums.
