Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah

Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was the Emir of Kuwait from 1977 until his death in 2006. He played a critical role in navigating Kuwait through the tumultuous period of the Gulf War following Iraq's invasion in 1990, during which he was forced into exile.
