Jacey Ann Steadman

Jacey Ann Steadman is a new mother from western Jamaica who gave birth at Cornwall Regional Hospital amidst the devastating conditions caused by Hurricane Melissa. Her experience included a perilous four-hour journey to the hospital while in labor, only to be sent back due to the storm's impact on the facility. After returning to the hospital, she faced dire conditions, including leaking roofs and overcrowding, ultimately leading to her early discharge due to lack of resources.
