Jack Bush

Jack Bush was a prominent Canadian abstract painter known for his contributions to the colour field movement in the 1960s and 1970s. His work is characterized by vibrant colors, playful compositions, and a focus on flatness, challenging traditional notions of depth in painting. A retrospective of his work is currently on display at the Paul Kyle Gallery in Vancouver, marking the first significant exhibition of his art in the city in nearly 50 years.
