Jacob Boehme

Jacob Boehme is an Indigenous Australian artist and advocate, diagnosed with HIV at the age of 24. He is known for his solo performance piece 'Blood on the Dance Floor,' which explores the experiences of being an HIV-positive, gay, Indigenous man. Alongside his artistic endeavors, Boehme works to improve HIV treatment outreach within First Nations communities through the Mob+ peer program, focusing on culturally appropriate communication and resources.
