Jacob Josefson

Jacob Josefson is a professional ice hockey player from Stockholm, Sweden, born on March 2, 1991. He began his career with Djurgårdens IF in the SHL before moving to the NHL, where he played for teams such as the New Jersey Devils and the Buffalo Sabres. After suffering a serious concussion in January 2021 that forced him to retire, Josefson made headlines again as he announced his comeback to the ice, rejoining Djurgården in preparation for the upcoming SHL season. Known for his skill as a center, he earned the SHL's 'Most Valuable Player' award during his previous stint with Djurgården.
