Jacob Nyirongo

Jacob Nyirongo is the Chief Executive Officer of the Farmers Union of Malawi (FUM), a prominent organization advocating for the rights and welfare of farmers in Malawi. Recently, he has been in the news for vehemently criticizing the National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) for reducing the maize buying price, which he argues undermines government policy and threatens the livelihoods of farmers.
