Jacopo Torriti

Jacopo Torriti was an Italian mosaicist active in the late 13th century, renowned for his significant contributions to the decoration of the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, including a series of mosaics commissioned by Pope Nicholas IV that illustrate the life of the Virgin Mary.
