Jacqueline Semedo has been appointed as the new Director General of the Polícia Judiciária (PJ) in Cape Verde, succeeding Manuel António Livramento da Lomba. With a distinguished career in law enforcement, she previously held the position of Criminal Investigation Coordinator and has been involved in various roles, including serving as the Executive Secretary of the National Commission Against the Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons.
