Jacqueline Pradère

Jacqueline Pradère was a prominent Andorran entrepreneur and philanthropist, known for her significant contributions to the social and economic development of Andorra. Born in 1926 in Toulouse, she moved to Andorra in 1954 after marrying Georges Pérez, the founder of the Pyrénées Group. As the founder and president of the Jacqueline Pradère Private Foundation, established in 2009, she dedicated her efforts to assisting employees facing economic hardships due to illness or social issues. Her philanthropic work included collaboration with various non-profit organizations, notably the Association Against Cancer. Pradère was recognized for her social contributions, receiving France's highest honor, the Legion of Honor, in 2010. She passed away at the age of 99, leaving behind a legacy as a pioneering figure in Andorran commerce and a committed advocate for social causes.
