Jacques Molitor

Jacques Molitor was a prominent Luxembourgish watchmaker and jeweler, known for leading his family-owned business established in 1897 on Rue du Marchés-aux-Herbes in Luxembourg City. He took over the shop in 1955 and became a respected figure in the local luxury market, earning the title 'Fournisseur de la Cour' in 1967, which signified his status as a supplier to the Grand Ducal family. Molitor was actively involved in his business until his passing at the age of 92 on February 27, 2023, and had ensured a smooth transition for the next generation, with his grandchildren already participating in the operations.
