Jagjeet Singh

Jagjeet Singh is a skilled carpenter who moved to Ontario as an international student in January 2021. After obtaining a temporary work permit, he began working for a company specializing in emergency property restoration and renovation. Singh has been awaiting approval for two years after applying to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program's skilled trades stream, which was recently suspended by the provincial government, leaving him and many others in uncertainty regarding their ability to live and work in Ontario.
