Jailson Oliveira has recently been appointed as the new president of Cabo Verde TradeInvest, the state agency responsible for promoting investment in Cabo Verde. With a focus on enhancing efficiency and attracting foreign direct investments, Oliveira aims to simplify bureaucratic processes and provide personalized support to investors. His ambitious vision includes transforming Cabo Verde into a regional business hub, diversifying the economy beyond tourism, and fostering economic growth and job creation through strategic partnerships and operational plans. Prior to this role, he served as the president of the board of directors of the Caixa Económica de Cabo Verde for five years.
