Jaime Alberto Parra Rodríguez is a former member of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and one of the leaders of the group’s transition to a political party following the peace agreement with the Colombian government. He has been involved in discussions regarding the Jurisdicción Especial para la Paz (JEP) and has advocated for the resolution of cases related to former FARC members to expedite the peace process.
