Jaime Luis Carrera

Jaime Luis Carrera is the Deputy Minister of Water at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Guatemala. He has recently been in the news for discussing the implementation of a high-tech biobarda designed to significantly reduce the amount of plastic and floating waste entering the Caribbean via the Motagua River, highlighting ongoing efforts to address transboundary pollution issues.
