Jairo Frey Varón Ramírez, also known as Fredy N, was a Colombian national implicated as a money launderer for former paramilitary leader Héctor Germán Buitrago, alias Martín Llanos. He was shot in Huixquilucan, Mexico, and succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted to a hospital. Varón Ramírez had faced serious charges in Colombia, including aggravated homicide and kidnapping, and had been evading authorities for years before his death.
