Jamalbek Yrsaliyev

Jamalbek Yrsaliyev is the Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, having been appointed to his position on May 14, 2024. He is responsible for overseeing issues related to transportation and construction in the city. Yrsaliyev was recently in the news after being detained during a meeting with the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), Kamchybek Tashiev, where residents accused him of misusing municipal land without paying rent for six years.
