James Amunga

James Amunga is a 30-year-old Kenyan who, in search of a better life, was lured by promises of a lucrative job in Thailand only to become a victim of human trafficking in Myanmar, where he was forced to work as an online scammer under brutal conditions. After enduring four months of torture and captivity, he managed to escape and return to Kenya, where he now advocates against human trafficking and shares his harrowing experiences to warn others.
