James Atieku-Apawu

James Atieku-Apawu, the Northern Sector Manager of the National Food and Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO), is in the news for his alleged involvement in a scandal that saw GH¢78.2 million misappropriated from the state funds meant for the School Feeding Programme. He is accused of being a key conduit in a criminal enterprise that used his company, Sawtina Enterprise, to receive payments for purported food supplies, while only a small fraction of those supplies were legitimate.
