James Kerr

James Kerr, known as Scorpion Dagger, is a Canadian artist and illustrator celebrated for his humorous and irreverent animations and collages that draw inspiration from historical paintings. Growing up in a creatively rich environment, Kerr transitioned from studying history and politics to pursuing a career in digital art and animation, finding joy in storytelling through visual humor. His work often juxtaposes solemn historical figures with absurd scenarios, reflecting a deep appreciation for classical art while also inviting laughter. He recently participated in the 15th anniversary celebration of Pupila, a prominent design studio in Costa Rica, showcasing his unique blend of artistic expression.
