James O’Driscoll

James O'Driscoll, a 59-year-old man from Drimoleague, Co Cork, was in the news after pleading guilty to defrauding an elderly farmer out of €21,600. He befriended the farmer under false pretenses and manipulated a cheque meant for a much smaller amount, leading to his conviction for theft.
