Jamil Kassas

Jamil Kassas is a Palestinian olive farmer from the southern West Bank, whose family has cultivated their land for over forty years. He has been active in the non-violent resistance movement, particularly through his involvement with the organization Combatants for Peace, which aims to promote peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Amid ongoing tensions and military presence during the olive harvest season, Kassas has faced difficulties accessing his land due to military restrictions, and he now struggles to make a living after losing his construction job in Israel following the outbreak of conflict.
