Jan Willem Akster

Jan Willem Akster, a Dutch national and former Finance Director of the Timotheos Foundation, has recently been ordered to defend himself in a high-profile court case involving multiple allegations of sodomy and gross indecency involving nine young men. The Chief Resident Magistrate’s Court in Blantyre determined that there was sufficient evidence to proceed with the charges, which include disturbing claims of coercive sexual encounters masked as mentorship. Akster has denied the allegations, asserting that any interactions were consensual and suggesting that some accusations may be fabricated.
