Jana Hojdová

Jana Hojdová is a Czech director and cinematographer known for her creative partnerships and innovative storytelling. She gained recognition for her documentary work, including the film 'Robert Richardson: The White Devil,' which explores the life of the acclaimed cameraman Robert Richardson. Her journey into filmmaking began during her studies at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), where she reached out to Richardson for insights for her thesis. This connection blossomed into a collaborative project that would ultimately culminate in a documentary portrait, showcasing her talent and dedication to the art of cinematography.
