Janat is a five-year-old girl from Morocco who was born with a severe cleft lip and palate, which initially left her unable to feed properly and at risk of severe malnutrition. Thanks to the intervention of Operation Smile, a medical charity that provides free surgeries for children with cleft conditions, Janat was able to receive life-saving care that included the creation of a feeding plate and subsequent surgeries.
