
Janet Pharaoh
Janet Pharaoh was a celebrated ballet dancer and artistic director, known for her remarkable career that began at the tender age of five. She gained prominence after being discovered by The Bluebells in 1977 and spent much of her life in Paris after joining the Moulin Rouge in 1980. In 1997, she became the artistic director of the Moulin Rouge, where she played a pivotal role in modernizing the renowned cabaret while preserving its traditional values. Pharaoh was instrumental in nurturing countless artists from around the world, instilling in them a passion for dance and performance.
