Janeth Nyoni

Prof. Janeth Nyoni is the Director of the Lake Zone Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) in Tanzania, known for her advocacy in improving road safety through proper training for motorbike and bajaji drivers. She has emphasized the importance of formal education for these drivers to reduce the high rates of accidents attributed to untrained operators. Under her leadership, VETA is providing theoretical and practical training to over 100 drivers to enhance their skills and ensure safer road practices.
