Jang Bahadur Kunwar

Jang Bahadur Kunwar, born in 1874, was a prominent figure in Nepal's history, serving as the country's first Prime Minister from 1903 to 1913. He played a crucial role during the Rana regime, consolidating power and establishing a political dynasty. Known for his strong character and leadership, Jang Bahadur was instrumental in shaping modern Nepalese governance and is also recognized for constructing several significant architectural works, including the unique 'Bishakhutte Durbar' in Lumbini, where he was born.
